SILVER STREAK WOMEN COMPETE IN PORT ANGELES

In August, Dolores Odendahl and Linda Burton ferried to Port Angeles for the Washington State Senior Games.  A masters swimmer for over 15 years, Linda competed in her first competition for the Streaks while Dolores has swum with the Streaks for some time and is a real medal-pro!  The ladies were escorted from the ferry to the pool by the Washington officials and treated royally while there.

Tired and exhausted, but exhilarated, they were taxied back to the Coho with a gift of their very own bag of homemade cookies. How great are our American friends.

You can see how well they swam in their races by all the hardware weighing their necks down. They enjoyed the afternoon and look forward to next year with their teammates.
